Reminds me of a car purchase I made several years ago; the salesman's name was Dick. I called him Richard. Finally, all the other salesmen spoke up, "Hey, you can call him Dick, we do!" I tried, but..... Now that I'm older, I have no problems using the word. 😏 😏

I went to school with a kid named "Peter Wiener". He went by "Pete", but he still took a lot of heat and ridicule. I remember thinking often that his parents should have been put away for naming him "Peter" with that last name. Thing is, I think they were clueless.

I knew a fellow years ago whose name was Harry Dyck......I would definitely have changed it
