I recently finished watching the Netflix series “Wanted” set in Australia.
two ladies waiting for a train witness a drug deal gone very bad and find themselves running from bad guys and bad cops.
They finally find themselves face to face with the mastermind.
I watched the entire series in about a week, good thing I’m retired!

Looks VERY promising with a 7.7 on IMDB ____ 18Eps over 3 Seasons
y`ever ponder on the magnitude of your/my/anyone`s consumption of these shows? The 3 year cumulative creative efforts of a SIZABLE cast, consumed entirely in a few nights.
Gird yourselves for this one, a well-made movie, "The House of Sand and Fog." Ben Kingsley is just superb. Jennifer Connely turns in one of her better performances. However, I can't say it a typical triumph-of-the-human-spirit type move.
I saw this movie........loved it! Kingsley is awesome.
April 26 Monday...my pick this week............. Framed (1947)
Ever see a Femme Fatale that stops you in your tracks yet oddly reminds you of Donna Reed?.....Miss Uncle Joe Bradley with his shenanigans and lumbago? Think washed up rowdies could AT LEAST wear a nice suit and tie?
Framed (1947)..Noir doesn`t get any better than this....starring Glenn Ford, Janis Carter, Barry Sullivan

I am thoroughly enjoying this series David.......can`t thank you enough for the recommendation..........for another short series in a Thelma/Louise-ish vein, but running more towards a comedic satire, check out Hitmen

Because I`ll lose my Grant Money if I don`t stick with this for another week, here`s my Marvelous Monday Movie selection for May 4th....a real slice of postwar Americana and the pursuit of the American Dream...."No Down Payment (1957)"

I lost my way half an hour into S01E03 .....that happens sometimes :(......in a related vein, "Foyle`s War" is paused midway thru S06E02
There are only 3 Eps out so far,but "Mosquito Coast" is a well written and shot, aggressively paced adventure/drama that may just have long legs !!! I went in,predisposed to dislike the male lead`s ability to act. I was wrong
A re watch last week,of the 1968 Harrison Ford 1986 movie ("Mosquito Coast"),reminded me of things I`d forgotten that weren`t so great about that movie 🙁
Currently on the Telly :"The Boogie Man Will Get You 1942"
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAnd.....a 4th re watch of "Lodge 49"
"Double Indemnity"
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.....Chip and Ernie`s dad on the dark side !!
Great film clip there JB !! They sure don't make movies like these anymore. Now it's just blow up and shoot up everything.
@100ford2003
.......yep .......sometimes I watch trailers muted....in many of them, without the sub-woofer`s rhythmic boom,it`s just vacant eyed people trying not to look at the camera
