Fantastic automotive era!  My favorites are the Yenko '69 Camaro and the AC Cobra 427.  Mopar is well represented in this category....no surprise there!  Thanks John.

I was hoping to see the '62-'64 413 and 426 Ram Charger Mopars. Not sure if cars from the earlier era were considered muscle cars. These were super fast and gave 409 Chevys, 406 Fords and 421 Pontiacs plenty of competition on the street or strip.

1962 Plymouth Savoy 3

Not much glamor but plenty of go.

@sizedoesmatter The early 60s performance Mopars were a bit odd looking but I like them more with every passing year.

Very interesting video John. All of these cars were quick but my favourite, the most expensive and quick, is that AC Cobra SC.

All great cars and fine representatives of the muscle car era. It would be hard to chose just one between them.

I hope I’m not going to far off-topic here, but here goe’s. In ‘63, my Dad bought a 1960 Pontiac Ventura, 389 tripper, which my older brother bought from him when Dad bought a new car in ‘66. Our little town was full of motor heads, and everyone agreed that the car was either haunted, or had super powers. My brother would street race against all kinds of muscle cars, and won more races than he lost. The engine eventually let go, and when they tore it down they discovered an Isky cam, and some evidence of some blueprinting. I sure wish I had that car now!

@kevins Sounds like another one of those cars a person wishes they had never parted with.
