The 8 bikes I owned & rode: '73 Triumph Trophy Trail 500 new, '76 Triumph Bonneville 750 new, '82 Yamaha  Maxim 650 new, '82 Yamaha Maxim 1100 left over[OUCH], '92 Yamaha Virago 750 used, '95 Yamaha Virago 1100 new, '89 Honda Trans Alp 600 used, '06 Honda Shadow 1100 used.  Did not ride '84 -'93 after the OUCH.

The order of my choices: '82 Maxim 1100 [even with the OUCH at 85 mph], '95 Virago 1100, '82 Maxim 650, '89 Trans Alp 600, '92 Virago 750, '73 Trophy Trail 500, '76 Bonneville 750, '06 Shadow [gutless compared to the Yamaha Virago and vibrated your eyes over 65 mph, doing 70 mph was like going to a spa vibrator.  And in 2008 I lost my sense of balance, no more bikes, on to ATVs].

That is quite a history Bruce.  The ATVs look like a lot of fun.

You’re welcome - I almost bought one back in the day - had the look of a Harley, but much less expensive.

Great history Bruce. I especially liked your Triumphs due to my family use. I'm sorry about your major 'OUCH' which took some time to recover. At 85mph you were lucky to still be around. I'm glad to see that you are still enjoying the open road experience.
