Chris when entering a low car I back in butt first and sit in the seat, then while sitting I lift both legs and pivot to the right and position myself behind the wheel. To exit, reverse the steps. No back strain.

That's the PERFECT way John! That's the way I learned to enter/exit my '72 C3 in '72 and I did the same in the new C5 Z06. The C4 was harder to get legs in once in the seat though.
...yes, good video. The problem is that I still have to bend.
- Like millions of other cars, my seat moves way back when the door opens, but I still need to bend & sit. I've had back issues my entire life - at 60, it's no better or worse. I've noted many times, if I could go through life standing, I'd NEVER have problems!
- "Taller vehicles" have always been best..... but there's NOTHING cool about those! 😫 😫 😫 Better to look good than to feel good! 😎 😎 😎 😎
As a guy in my eighties and being 6' 2" who owns a 1961 Corvette, I have to sit down in the car and pull my legs in. If either top is on the car I can't get in at all.
