The Toronto Triumph Club showed up unexpectedly in Owen Sound, Ontario on Georgian Bay last weekend. Included in the drive was my favourite Triumph, the TR3A.

Here it is in British Racing Green.

I’d love to row thru the gears around Huntington Beach in that beauty. As an aside a high schooler on the mail route I had  had a red TR6. Another had a black/gold Europa, one had a tricked out customized (by himself) Super Beetle and the son of D. Wayne Lucas (the horse trainer) had a new Vette every year. The last route I had was home to a ‘72 Pantera so I always hoped Jim would be in his garage on saturdays.

very popular on Australian roads in the late 50s, early 60s, one of my favorites too. That is a beautiful example David. Fortunately there's a good quality 1/24 kit available.

Nice model Geoff. Who manufactured the kit?

That is a beauty, in the perfect color combo. Thanks for sharing it with us David. And Geoff, your built looks fantastic. I love it. I really like seeing what you all have in your collections. Especially built models. To me, building is it's own artform. Everybody has their own style. And I like seeing it.💯👍😊

@geoff-jowett

Thank you Geoff. I look for this. I have previously built a Jaguar by the same company. It went together very well and detailed.

@kevins

I like that one too Kevins. My mother had a Triumph Bonneville way back when.
