They look beautiful in red ! You had it made if you were driving either of these dreamboats in 1954.

The Packard is in its 3rd year with this basic body.  Voting for the all-new Cadillac.  Great pics John!

Cadillac. It looks the part of a swanky luxury car. I never liked this generation of Packard's styling: too fussy and old fashioned IMO.

Retired in Dunedin, Florida.

The Packard is a gorgeous car and for a Packard collector, a MUST have. But stacked up against the 54 Cadillac drop top, I'm afraid most every car takes a back seat. Cadillac all the way!

And, OMG John, the color combo for each is stunning; especially the Cad!! OMG and, those wheels!!

I dislike both. Stodgy styling for both.

I called a tie. Both exceptional in their own right. I've always had a soft spot for this era of Packard. I can't quite pinpoint it. I just love 'em. Same with the Caddy, although '56 is my favorite.😊

@perrone1 +1  I agree with Tony's comments.  Cadillac gets the nod.

I'm going with the minority here. I'm not a post war Cadillac fan but I truely appreciate that Packard 5431.
