@sizedoesmatter, this one is the real deal. It was supposed to come out late next year, but Chrysler moved it up because the response to the new all-electric model has been lukewarm. The one Dave saw must be the electric model.

Correct, right, and right. In many ways this all-new Charger is an Americana throw back. It's a big heavy car with tons of power. I'm disappointed really, with ONLY two things: 1) It's not a true hardtop. 2) No factory convertible is available - I'm not certain aftermarket conversions will be offered like they were on the previous generation.
A two door Charger, what a concept!
I do see a hint of 68 in the taillights however subtle. 😎👍

@sizedoesmatter LOL....a Charger mini-van; now there's a contradiction of terms! Just imagine Frank Bullitt chasing one of those with his electric Mustang SUV! How exciting......

Fast? Fast, you say John? Talk impressive - I'm sure you've heard of the Rimac Nevera from Croatia.Don't under estimate E-vehicles...they are FAST!@sizedoesmatter LOL....a Charger mini-van; now there's a contradiction of terms! The Rimac Nevera boasts impressive performance metrics, including a 0-60 mph acceleration time of 1.74 seconds, a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) time of 1.81 seconds, and a top speed of 412 km/h (258 mph). It also has a 0-300 km/h (0-186 mph) time of 9.22 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 8.25 seconds.
@perrone1 Whoa...now that's the definition of hauling ass. I think by my calculations that I would wet myself at 1.78 seconds. At this age I would fare better medically on the quarter track with a '61 Renault Dauphine....with a 4-speed though....I'm no sissy.
I'm no sissy either - it would take me to 1.87 seconds!@perrone1 Whoa...now that's the definition of hauling ass. I think by my calculations that I would wet myself at 1.78 seconds. Don't need no fancy ass high $ electric sports car...I recall a bunch of years back long before electric cars were popular, one of the local car crazies put an electric motor and batteries in an old VW Bug and shut down all takers in a quarter mile race. The losers were astonished to say the least.Fast? Fast, you say John?
