True story....a farmer I know hired a carpenter to build him a small barn.
During the project the carpenter wooed the guy's wife; they had an affair then she ran off with him. I asked my friend the farmer how he was holding up with the situation. He paused, looked at me grimly and said "Not too well; I really need that barn done." Then his trademark smirk...he always did have a great sense of humor! I think it is what got him through it all; he went on to prosper well in life.
