Hate it, love it, own it, or "never buy it".....   I'm shocked no one posted anything about the first Cybertruck  deliveries this past Thursday.

Never before seen technology, mind blowing manufacturing techniques and futuristic "bullet proof" (literally) looks all combine to create the most unique & fascinating mass-produced vehicle the world has ever seen.

Time will tell just how successful the CT  will be, but you have to concede ..... there's NEVER been anything like it!

CT 1
CT 3
CT 4
CT 2

This is the first I've heard of this one.  I must live in a vacuum or something.

Can't wait to see one in the flesh, although I seriously doubt one will ever set foot here in The Netherlands....

Elon Musk strikes again....

True, there's never been anything like it. And stylistically speaking, I hope there never will again, but that's just me.

For Mr Dodd living in his little vacuum, here's the story . . .

The thing is ridiculous, it's hideous, and it will be a danger on our roads. It's Elon's ego fever..

the credo of many freight packers is "high and tight"......this does not ever take into account, arrow-wedge-shaped boxes and how they would need to be prioritized for order of loading

I am reminded that when Elon Musk first introduced the prototype, he hit the driver window with a hammer to show how strong it was. It shattered instantly. Embarrassing!

I think maybe I'm just too traditional for this kind of stuff.  I'm sure it will be wonderful and exciting for some but I find it simply boring.  I have the Cranky Old Codger syndrome and there is no cure for it thankfully.  Give me a '66 Chevy short box please.

Actually Joop, certain manufacturing constraints & regulations forbid ANY foreign sales at this time. At least for the first few years, ALL CTs  sold will be in the US only.

Why do you feel the Cybertruck  will be dangerous?

IMO, I'm looking at the styling of it and thinking that if it ever hits another car and it's going over 40-45mph, the other people in the car are really going to get hurt. This thing looks like a big boat barge also it looks like one of those big heavy SWAT team carriers.

I don't dislike it though I mean it's interesting looking but if you gave me one I'd give it right back. Steve

I am obviously pro EV owning Tesla Y. I welcome the CT but I don't love it. No aspirations to own one. It is a fascinating vehicle, I have several friends and colleagues who are buying it. CT clicks better with the younger generations, It is certainly a disruptor, I think it will be a small success but not a big one. However future releases may be much better. I like this more traditional lines concept:

Me too. But in the promotional videos the creators of this beast say the decision was eventually taken to fabricate the body from a special kind of stainless steel (rather than aluminium or normal steel as originally planned) and it couldn't be bent, so everything had to be severe right angle joins. Which explains why it looks like the work of a backyard builder who can't bend metal. It is grotesque. And it weighs 3 tons (this is Mr Musk's environmentally-friendly electric future?)

we won`t become privy to the ENTIRETY of the implemented master-plan until such numbers of the atomic wedgies are present in such numbers that sharing a PRIVATE web server fails to raise an eyebrow Nonoise

...........................the presence of "such numbers", in redundancy, only serves to befuddle the innocent
