rather high percentage of Checker-cabs...

and many cars with dark colors, except for the cabs, that is.

Very cool ! I think I saw some 1938 Olds and Buicks, but I don't think I saw any 1940 cars, so perhaps this may be from 1938 -1939 ?

I agree Mike; lots of '38 cars.  I saw a '39 Chevy but that was the newest car I could pick out.
