Instead, I think I might just hitch up the buggy and trot on down to the McDrive-thru for a Big Breakfast....extra hash browns.
Seriously though, if these folks can actually get by without all the modern conveniences while making a go of life financially, then more power to them; they have my respect.

Nothing easy but life moved at a far different pace. Not quite as simple as it looks. All those ingredients came from sources outside this video. In many parts of our planet today, the breakfast scene found here is not that unusual.

Wow! I just spent the last hour or so looking at a few video of 1820's life. Whoever said that life was much simpler back then didn't live back then. Life is much simpler now.
