Whew!! Thank goodness. 💯
Looks like you missed a spot!Did my laundry and I found this at the bottom of the washing machine, after detergent, fabric softener, Clorix II, water of course [cool thank goodness], not to mention aggregation and spinning and sat with the wet laundry over night and STILL WORKS!!!
...no big deal if it didn't survive.
Just a quick trip to the Subaru dealership whereupon they'd sell you one new key-fob - keyless entry remote - then sync that fob's factory I.D. code, with your vehicle's immobilizer system to ensure it recognizes & acknowledges the proper transponder signals and further demonstrate that all critical safety & security default settings are once again operational. Lastly, repetition tests will be conducted - checking for accuracy and compliance under varied conditions and different scenarios.
$520 should cover it (note: the button-battery cell is included - no charge ).
- Quite a bit different than just a few decades ago when, for $2 or $3, a new key could be "cut" at any hardware store. 🙄 🙄 🙄
Oh thank goodness it got, "aggregation and spinning". If it got the washer "agitation" then surely it wouldn't work. LOL! Interesting to know; glad it is OK.
Bruce, today's your lucky day...get yourself a Lotto Ticket!

He did, but that didn't survive the wash.... so, he'll never know. 🙄 😞 😟
