I would love to drive the Lada Kalina......I believe a man nearby has one.

He was waiting right next to me at the stop-light a few weeks ago.

The engine was in higher revs.....was that because of a manual choke ??

Just couldn't believe it.

I must say that Lada is tempting Joop, but I have always secretly desired a rip around in a Pontiac Firenza.....if I could find one that wasn't on fire.

You mean a Pontiac Fiero, Jack? Firenza was an Oldsmobile model.

@moe-parr  In Canada circa 1972 Pontiac had a small car called a Firenza....it was a nightmare.

My choice would be a Lotus Europa...but only for a short while as I'm reasonably sure no one ever drove one for too long a trip.

I always fancied driving a Messerschmitt KR200. Unusual seating and certainly not the best place to be on a hot sunny day. If you got sunstroke, you could almost believe that you were in a dogfight with a Hawker Hurricane in a Messerschmitt Bf109.

Love to drive,  Carroll Shelby’s personal 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 Super Snake [twin turbos] that sold at BJ for $5 million and I don't care who knows.

Yes I believe it was originally a Vauxhall, but just in Europe.  It was a standing joke in my neck of the woods because they regularly caught fire....the name coincidentally given it was perfect of course.  Lol.

@jkuvakas  John;  I always thought the Lotus Europa was a horrible looking excuse for a sports car...just awful styling.  A high school chum of mine had a red one he thought was pretty cool but not for long as it caught fire parked in his garage overnight (Lucas wiring??....not sure) and that was the end of it.

I already did...in 1987 I took a Yugo GV for a test drive...I’m so glad you asked this question during this therapy session! I feel so much better now that this weight has been lifted from my shoulders, I’ve struggled so long...
