Very cool!
The Clampettmobile showed up at the 14 second mark.
WOW that is terrific!. I have owned four Oldsmobiles over the years from a 61 Starfire convertible, to two 62 Starfire hardtops to a 73 Cutlass Supreme. Looking at this evolution it clearly shows that GM made the brand so generic that they robbed it of it's uniqueness and personality. They did the same with the Pontiac brand. Too bad.
....I mentioned this on another thread recently, I've never owned an Oldsmobile. 🤔 🤔 That video's cool, but I it reminds me of a certain 1957 Plymouth. 😏 😏
It took Christine director, John Carpenter, several weeks to stage & film all the damage experienced by Christine, destroying several cars in the process. Today, he could've done all that in a few hours without wrecking a single Plymouth. 😯 😯 😬
@bob-jackman Yes they turned Olds and Pontiac into basically the classic rental car fleet look. A terrible shame.
VERY innovative! I really enjoyed that John, thank YOU!
Cough, cough - now I have to get all of that smoke out of the room!!
I've never been an Oldsmobile fan, model for model and year for year I virtually always prefer its Buick equivalent. But we all know that George Schire is an Oldsmobile guy - where has he been lately? 🤔 Hope all is OK with him.

Love it! I never owned an Oldsmobile but always been a fan. When I think about it, the prior sentence could apply to most car brands I never owned. Some would say I'm car crazy, or better yet, just plain crazy.

very creative, thanks John. What stands out to me is the blandness in design after the 80s.
