The Jo-Han model kit was one of the best kits I ever remember having in my whole life !
Yes Steve, that WAS THE BEST 1/25 model kit ever produced. Nothing was overlooked, everything opened or articulated as it should, heck, I still remember those rotating brake drums! But I vividly remember being upset & frustrated because I couldn't find color reference photos; I didn't know what color the turbine engine should be! 😬 😬 😬
How could I have possibly known that someday I'd be able to access all the reference pics I could ever want in mere seconds? 🙄 🙄
Nicely done. My Photoshopping is no match for yours and I'm certainly not trying to compete, but I just had an idle thought about squaring off the rear quarters and the roof a little to give a slightly more "formal" look.
I am quite happy to be shot down in flames for even suggesting it. It's just my itchy fingers.

Steve , Dad had them up in the attic till he passed away in 2015. My younger brother took them and added them to his collection till he passed away in 2020. My youngest brother and I split up his cars and I took Dads cars. I have about ten of Dads cars, 35 of my brothers cars, close to 100 planes of varies scales, 50 tanks of varies scales, and a flock of bird models he painted. Brother got 23 1/24 truck models an his HO and O gauge trains.

Thanks ! I wish I had had the smarts to save all the model and promo cars I had. One of my favorite kits was the 1928 Porter from "My Mother the Car".
The formal squared-off rear quarters done on that "Turbo 300" looks great ! It certainly does give it a more "distinguished" appearance, and, in combination with such a powerful V-8 engine, would have been a real high-powered package.
