It looks like the great new 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air is being introduced in this colorized picture by these 5 lovely ladies, perhaps at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York. It is a really good-looking car, but the band and the speaker on that balcony above them look like they are in a quite perilous situation ........ especially the guy who gets that seat on the upper left end of this photograph. Yikes !

I believe they are recreating the "Packard in the Ballroom" scene.
