(PIC) Here's my contribution to green today. This is the car that brought me back into the world when I literally lost everything I owned after the real esate crash of the late 80s and had to file BK. I didn't have a dime in my pocket until I was the 10th caller to a radio station and won $1,000. I used that money to buy a '72 Olds 98 Regency EXACTLY like this one, in pristine condition. It was totally loaded, including A/C.

I bought it from an older woman for $850, repaired the mechanical malfunctions, shined it up and for a year hauled clients around in it looking for commercial real estate. The only thing I couldn't fix or change was the aroma of oil and gas that permeated the interior when the engine was running.

I sold it a year later for $1,500 to a guy with six kids and he soon wrecked it.photo no longer available
