Great ad! I have two of these in 1/43 white metal. The front bumper-grill is impressive.

I never liked this Buick "overbite" grille since I was a kid but strangely enough, mainly as the result of much Forum comment and discussion in recent years, I have come to like it for the one year only design statement it made.
wow GM obviously thought the overbite grille was a huge selling point. Personally I just love the odd extravagance on cars, a real case in point here. Great add, thanks Mike
Cool old advertising piece Mike! I'm more impressed with the color than the grille. I just don't recall seeing many Buicks, of the day, in white!
It is a really cool color for this Buick, Tony. There may have been adjusted or one-off automobiles mostly done for advertising purposes, which can perhaps lead to making supposedly absolute or definitive statements about the colors a car came in a bit problematic !
I believe some extremely limited or one-off cars were produced at the factory for certain people or for advertising. They are real cars done by the manufacturer, but can be elusive to find in the existing records. I think I have personal knowledge of one of these at least.
The 1950 Buick to an Orthodontist represents the potential for substantial income. Personally I like it for its uniqueness.
Lol, that sure is a "toothy" (but still good-looking) grille !
When I was very young, a neighbor had a white 1950 Buick. I still remember the car and its bumper-grill.

Who could forget that remarkable Buick grille-bumper on this big beauty !
Catchy advertisement. That lady looks to be in danger.
Excellent ! That full-line catalog definitely highlights the beautiful Buicks from back then. As they used to say : "When Better Cars Are Built, Buick Will Build Them"
