Schaefer beer was pretty popular up north a long time ago. Not sure if it is still around. Cool sign! You have some unique and interesting pics Mike - thanks!!

Thanks, Tony ! I think this picture was taken in either the north part of Chicago or in Milwaukee (although Schlitz beer was the "Beer That Made Milwaukee Famous" ! 
The street cars and the overhead electric lines are interesting, as are the automobiles.

"Schaefer is the one beer to have when you're having more than one."
I have never drank a beer in my life yet I purchased quite a lot of Schaefer when too young to legally do so, my friends loved the stuff and I was the only one not to get carded to purchase it, I looked older at 16 years and 6' 2" and 185 lbs. but 21??? The funny thing is, the guys I was buying it for were 2 to 3 years older than me.
