I think that is a Vampire jet that you can get right up next to there at the museum. Very cool ! And on the back wall is I believe a scale model of the CF-105 Avro Arrow supersonic interceptor that was unfortunately canceled after several had test flown.

When I was in the military the vehicles didn't look like the ones pictured.

Hi Tony,

This is the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in, Mount Hope, Ontario, Canada, home of the only flying Lancaster bomber in North America.

The plane next to me is a De Havilland Vampire Vampire Mk.III. I was in the RCAF reserve from 1956 to 1961 in 2400 Radar Squadron that flight controlled Vampires before moving on to Canadaire Sabre  Mk.5 jets. Joined when I was 16 before university and a long career in education.
