Interesting design.  Looks like Tucker stole the 3rd light option from them.

@carsman1958

And from the back there are cues from the Pierce Arrow.

I only have one model of a Tatra and can't find it or remember the year. I do remember it having a rear engine.

Nice to see one that I have actually driven. Carmen, Manitoba, Canada in 1988. Interesting barn with aircraft restoration (Zero etc) for movies and lots of neat old vehicles. Got to drive this one on the restoration property for about half an hour.  Unique rear engined Tatra 87.

Bob, Here is the Tatra 77a from 1935 which is virtually the same as the 87 in looks. I have this built from kit. Is this like yours? Avenue 43 did a built one in silver.

I love these rear engined Tatras. Our local Tampa Bay Automobile Museum has several generations of them. They look so cool.

Edit: I filtered by make but that's not how the link came across. Filter by make, but exploring them all is fun!

The Nazis prohibited their officers from driving the 87 because of accidents due to weight transfer. Too bad they caught on...
