One of your best "Something Different" choices John. For 1934 and for NOW, that car is magnificent! What a little treasure. Excellent article -  thank you John!

@perrone1 Magnificent, yeah Tony, that’s the word I’d use. I loved that car long ago when I first saw it, thanks for jogging my memory John, great to see it again! I always thought it looked like a pinewood derby car made full size.

great story John, thanks. Really brings an inanimate object to life...."Warner wrote Pallasch a check on the spot and hauled his discovery away. "I decided to show the Edsel Speedster to Bob Gregorie (who was then 91 and living in St. Augustine) on the way home," said Warner. "Mr. Gregorie came out of his house, smiled, and ran his hands over the surface of the car. "I haven't seen it since 1940," he said. "The old girl still looks pretty good for her age."

Minichamps model is outstanding for those who may want an accurate replica.

One of my favorites too because of ALL the history behind it.    It's so unfortunate that Edsel died when he did, who knows what he could've accomplished.
