PIC: The Boeing plant and airport is close to home for us and we see and hear the Dream Lifter every day right over our house. I love to watch them come and go.
Boeing has now offered to bring in medical supplies at no cost. There are four of these 747 Dream Lifters and they are very busy now.
It is really great to see when all four are parked together.

Dick, it would be fun to sit there and watch those puppies take off and land every day. Stuff like that doesn't get old.
I'm jealous.
I always enjoy the air traffic where we live, you are right it never gets old.
One thing I like also is when a jet fighter plane takes off. It rattles the house and also when a helicopter goes over, just awesome.
Dick, a buddy of mine lives near LaConner and when I visit we are often treated to the fighter jets from Oak Harbour. I could watch them all day!
These are truly amazing.
What a giant ! That's a very nice gesture by Boeing to make use of these special 747's.
Where we live is under the glide path to the airport.
Sometimes as the wind direction changes it's the flight path. For the last little while the skies above us have become, less noisy and more quiet with now only the occasional airliner passing ovehead and the medevac helicopter to disrupt this unusual quiet....
That a monster like this gets off the ground is amazing.
Is that the Boeing between Seattle and SeaTac? I lived in Federal Way as a child and used to love watching their planes flying to and for overhead. We must have been under a flight path because we'd have several going to and from the their airport every day. We also were close enough that they would still be low in altitude, relatively speaking, so we'd get a pretty good look at them as they flew over. Several times a week there would also be a sonic boom. They were impressive, to say the least. Memories!!!
Then again, I remember when SeaTac was just a crescent of Quonset huts on a rise before we dropped down to the bridge on the way to Boeing and Seattle.
