One of my car books reproduced this really neat print advertisement for the Willys Jeep station wagon. When I was a baby, my Grandfather had one of these vehicles and it is one of the first autos I remember riding in and being parked in our garage. This would have been in about 1953-54.
I also remember our 1949 Lincoln, our 1952 Ford station wagon, the 1953 Chevrolet my Dad had and then the Bel Air and Pontiac from 1955 that were also in the family back then.
Nice YM Jeep wagon ! I didn't realize they made one of these diecast vehicles and it really looks good, especially with it's white wall tires.
This Jeep is actually a pretty decent replica. After I bought this version, I discovered the non-whitewall (blue & white ) release is a bit more accurate but still, they're both nicely done. The tooling is nice & crisp! 😎
GREAT poster Mike!
A neighbor had one of these...I'm guessing '53-'54. I rode in it once or twice...cool!

I love the model and the white walls make it look like a neighbors when I was young.
