I prefer the stock look on this car but do like your 3rd rendition. This particular car imho is one that really suits a restomod application; especially if the interior can be left as stock looking as possible (style remains but with more modern material used). A suspension upgrade, 383 engine/drive train and conservative wheels would be a great transition for this car.

@tldaly LOL. Here's the story behind the customization of my '46 Plymouth. It's not what you think.
When I was at a buddies house I parked my car in his yard and had to leave it there for a bit. While I was gone he decided to bull nose the hood. So, he ripped off all of the chrome and bent it in the process. Not realizing that the hood was a two-part piece with a seam down the middle he improvised and covered the seam with black electrician's tape. Looked great in pictures and from a distance.
