PICS: A '56 Packard 400 Hardtop, a model that I've always kind of liked but rarely view.......

due to the extremely busy front bumper/grill. The hooded headlights and nicely shaped taillights are real pluses but most examples have lots of trim and accessories. So, I've done some edits to clean the front end and other parts of the car and have played with paint schemes, as  well.

As found:

56 Packard 400   PS (1)

Original paint scheme with front and trim simplification:

A second altered paint scheme:

I like the alterations from an artistic perspective but IMHO Packard is just one of those cars that is best left original.

Tidaly, I recognize your methodology's limitations, and I appreciate your efforts.  Here, in one of the last Packard styling productions, is what a Packard stylist group thought Packard should have done with that same body:
