Again thanks everyone for the kind remarks. When I bought the car back in 1990 the prior owner had the car painted a root beer color in imron aircraft enamel. It took me months to strip that paint off before I could even think of painting it back to the original Champaigne color. The paint on the car now is water based with three coats of clear lacquer.
John the secret is to never grow up. A few weeks ago I won a couple of cars on our auction sight. When I asked the seller why he was selling he said that he was 75 and decided it was time to sell. He then asked me how old I was I told him 77 and that I was still buying. I'm sure his approach was more practical but mine is mine is more fun.
Fabulous work Bob
