Pics: I am most fond of the cars I grew up with;
Specifically, American cars 1948-50 to 1971-72 and I much prefer the 2 door models. Because I always considered 4 doors & station wagons everyday work vehicles where as 2 doors were kinda sporty and practical at the same time.
Here are the GMC cars within that time period I prefer the styling best.
What do you think?
What are yours for GMC of this period?

"Memories"
Always thought 2 doors had better proportions.
...2 door hardtops 🙂
Every car pictured is a home run to me !
I have to wonder where all these cars went. There were millions of them made, but I don't see any of them on the road these days, except the restored ones. Are they all in scrap yards or are they in retoration shops?
Two door hardtops would be my choice
+1.
I personally totaled a 3 week old '67 Dodge Coronet 500, a 10 month old '69 Dodge Coronet R/T, a 3 year old'69 Dodge Dart 340 Swinger. Junked a'68 Dodge Super Bee after 286,000 miles and 12 years of good New England SALT. Car was virtually rusted away, it was just another old junk then, now anything is restorable, I guess.
I did keep the engine though it had billowing clouds of blue smoke when started or stepped on.
I can account for 4 muscle cars of my own and know of 2 others destroyed.
Great choices Bruce. I would swap a '61-2 Buick for the '60 myself.
Which is of course why they are so rare and expensive today! Lol.
+1 love that body style on all cars best.
Sold as scrap, exported only to return as Toyota's.
