These beauties are real knockouts for 1940 ...... and they are supercharged ! (perhaps because they don't have a V-8 yet) In any case, they both look great and after the war, the re-styled Kaiser-Frazers would arise later from these Graham-Paige cars and be around in the U.S.A. until 1955 and in Argentina until the early 1960's.
brilliant art deco designs, thanks Mike. Automodello have had a beautiful 1/24 1938 Graham convertible sitting as a 'preorder' on the website for years.
Either would make a terrific replica in 1/24 or any scale. I have the "Spirit of Motion" Graham "Sharknose" automobile in a brilliant red convertible 1/43 form and it is a favorite.
From the moment I saw my first Graham Sharknose, I was hooked. LOVE that car. Thanks for the great artifacts Mike!
I think thats the one on the Automodello site Tony. I've emailed Jim Cowan about it a couple of times saying I'll order one on release date. We would have to think there is some licensing, manufacturing issue because surely it would sell, and sell quickly.
I didn't realize that Geoff. As a scale model, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. And, OMG, if it were done by the old Mint precision standards, opening features and engine detail, etc. - be still my beating heart!
