The Ford is too pretty not to win.

Retired in Dunedin, Florida.

Ford gets the nod for its influential place in automobile history, both in stock and custom form.  Plymouth is a car I have come to appreciate more in recent years and it is very close to a tie today based just on these two examples.  Thanks John!

I like both but the Ford styling carries the day.

I like Plymouth '42 - '48, Ford '35 - '40.  So today it is Ford please.

Easy one for me today.  The '39 and '40 Ford's styling, especially the grill, are always a draw for me.  So today it's FORD.  However, I wouldn't knock the Plymouth being in my driveway.  Thanks John, great comparison today!

Loving the Ford but the Plymouth is nice too.

Gents, thanks for your responses!

The unfamiliar Plymouth is really a nice looking machine for 1939. BUT, that gorgeous Ford is not only familiar, but a standout in auto design, even after all these years. Ford for the win.
