I do like the DeSoto and the '57 front end, except, of course, for the four eyes it has. And even though the wheel covers are removable, they leave a lingering effect on one's psyche.

The Olds has a better, more concise styling approach and a lovely and singular lighting system. My vote.

Oldsmobile for me. Easily my favorite fifties Olds.

Tie for me. I can't truly say I like one better than the other, they're both great in their own right. 💯

I voted DeSoto. I like its looks better but not the gold wheels.

Never a fan of the late 50's Buicks, Olds, or Pontiacs, so my vote is for the DeSoto.

@ed-glorius Ed +1. DeSoto all the way. Silver wheels would look better.

Olds styling  and trim/color separation appeals much more to me.

Love the '57 Olds. Also love the '57 DeSoto. Would be a tie with the quad headlights, but with the single lights on each side and silver chrome wheel disk I choose the DeSoto.

@brush Olds for me, I’d have ordered it just as it’s shown here!

I voted a tie.  This year Desoto I like the least of all Desotos ever. Don’t like the fins and I like it better with two headlights. But it is Mopar and I am loyal.
I like the Oldsmobile. Recently ordered the two produced by Goldvarg in 1/43.  Although I’m not impressed with Connie kit on one of them. It wasn’t a car I saw a kit on before so I needed to see it close up.

A very nice pairing! Like most here, I've never cared for the gold accents on the DeSoto. I vote for the Olds.

If anyone here on the Forum has to wonder what my vote is for today, then obviously they are either very new to the Forum or they've not paid any attention to my "favorites" ramblings over the last couple of decades.

As loud as I can should it, I shout OLDSMBILE.
