The Buick is a work of art, forming those panels had to be black magic.
Both are really attractve late 1950's full-size American automobiles. It is hard to go wrong with either of these beautiful driving machines.
Tie. One of my favorite Desoto styles against a very artistic Buick.
Love that beautiful DeSoto. Both lovely.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
I went with tie as well.😊
I will take the DeSoto. Not a fan of the early Buicks.
Nooooo. I can't choose! The 59 Buick is my favorite year of all for the brand. But that DeSoto, in that color, is irresistible. TIE!
Wow! Many tie votes! Both are excellent examples of late-fifties flamboyance. To my eye, the Buick is just a tad bit more reserved and gets my vote.

Not even close for me...BUICK.
DeSoto please John. As an aside, I got a nasty concussion banging my head on the rear entry on a 1959 Buick. It would not have happened with this convertible version.
Today's "Which One?" is an over-the-top no-brainer! How loud can I shout BUICK?
After '56, the styling for DeSoto was losing traction each year, while General Motors was re-inventing themselves with their incredible '59's.

Both cars are really nice but I give the Buick the nod for its aggressive and very different styling.
