Pontiac wins pretty much every time in the early 1960s, at least for me. And I like the Dodge.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
I would be delighted to drive either one of the strong beauties back in 1964 or having a replica of each of them right now !
I'd take either car if given to me, but if I have a choice, PONTIAC wins.

Pontiac design wins by a country mile; it makes the Dodge look rather generic in comparison.
I like the Dodge styling, though 64 isn't my favorite year for the MoPar. But that Bonny is a honey, it is seriously Sweet!
Pontiac for the win! (NICE work John!!)
No contest Pontiac please.
'57 Pontiac, '58 - '60 tie, '61 to '64 Pontiac wins, '65 up Dodge wins for my taste.
While I like the Dodge, it can't compete with the Pontiac IMO. Nice comparo John.
Well, I reckon you guys know my answer by now, lol. Thanks John, you make me smile ear to ear when you post these beautiful Pontiacs.😁
I hate to say it the early (61-65) Dodge are not my favorites. This one is such a “plain Jane”. I wonder how many have been kept or restored. Show me the Pontiac any day.
A hard choice here. I am surprised that I went for the Dodge 880.
I'm with most everyone else here. The Mopar to me was dud in 64 which is unusual for me to say. But I picked the Pontiac in this pairing.
Every morning, I sit down at my computer, and with trembling hands, I boot it up. I know what's coming...and sweat begins to appear on my brow. I don't want to do what comes next...But I have to, I must, I am compelled by some outside force that threatens to overwhelm me if I don't do its bidding. So, I click on the Diecast Zone tab. As the screen loads, the first board stares at me, daring me to click on it..."The Lounge." It waits...crouched down and ready to spring like a famished leopard or a nimble panther. By now, I am a limping gazelle, the slowest in a herd of zebras. Once again, it stares at me, beckons to me, calls my name, dares me to come to my own doom, as I have done so frequently in the past. Right there, near the top of the board, it is poised like a beautifully lethal siren silently drawing me to its underwater lair by the look in her eyes and the tumble of her long dark hair. It is John Bono's daily comparison, taunting me, ridiculing me, luring me dangerously close to the precipice, to look down into the abyss, down into the darkness. I know there awaits yet another heart-tearing, mind-challenging, impossible-to-decide comparo. I will make a choice, then suffer untold agony for the remainder of the day, wondering if my decision satisfied my questioning heart.
So, today's comparo is a breather, a soft caress of warm wind, a refresher to my soul, and a rare opportunity to spend an entire day second-guessing myself. Thank you, John, for your mercy on us this day, the thirty-first day of March, 2026, a day that shall go down in the annals of the great humanitarians of the world. You, John, are the foremost of these. I vote for the Pontiac!
And now, I must rest.

LOL......oh my, what a tortured life you lead! Stay strong and DECISIVE and remember there is always the "tie" option if things get too overwhelming. Meanwhile head for the hammock.
Pontiac for its outstanding design balance and engineering. Plus, it’s a Pontiac 👍
