Tough one. I like the Camaro RS for its rally wheels, hidden headlights, and astro ventilation, but the Mustang GT with its graphics, fastback styling, ten-slot GT wheels, and more aggressive body sculpting makes the Camaro look conservative in comparison. Of course red vs. champagne beige doesn't help the Camaro either. Going with the Mustang!
I would normally pick the GM candidate of this era, against a Mustang. Maybe it's the color, maybe it's the vinyl roof or maybe just the hole left over from the wiper removal - But, the 'Stang looks GREAT! My vote. Thanks John!
I prefer the 69 Camaro over the 68. I also prefer the 69 Mustang over the 68. I voted a tie.
Love the 67-68 Mustangs, Mustang today. I also prefer the Firebird over ANY Camaro.......obviously, lol.😁
Camaro. I don't care for the Mustang facelift.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
Loved the curved taillights of the Mustang, so it gets my vote.
Almost a tie. The colours probably changed my mind. I go with the Mustang as shown here.
Another tough one for me. I love the 396 in the Camaro. I also remember how cool the stripes around the front fenders were back in the day. But I love the roofline on the Mustang and, to my eyes, a better interior. The Mustang gets my vote.

My second car was a 68 Mustang so will go with it though I love the Camaro too.
Tie. I like the Camaro for its size and hidden headlights. Funny but I think this gold was a popular color. Go figure!
I like Mustangs from 64-68. But being a Mustang driver I voted for it also. In fact I owned a 2008 Mustang that was supposed to a one off of 1968 model. I regret totaling that car. But when a convertible gets hit hard from behind there goes the frame.
@whodeytink My second favorite year for the Mustang, ‘69 is my first choice by a nose. I am probably in the majority here, but I prefer the standard Louvered SS hood over the optional Z cowl induction, but I still vote for the pony thrashing 396! Gotta be an L-78 though. Either way, if I were ordering a pony car in ‘68, I’m going for a Firebird 400 Ram Air ll !
