Imperial because it looks like its name. DeSoto next, then Chrysler.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
Very nice ones ! They are all home runs in my view. 1955 sure was a big year for all the American automobile manufacturers and brands.
1. Chrysler
2.Imperial
3. TIE DeSoto & Dodge
5. Plymouth
Imperial. I see a bit of 1953 Packard Caribbean in the side profile, especially the wheel arches.
Imperial, Chrysler, Desoto, Plymouth, Dodge.
John, you're like a thoroughbred race horse in this "Which?" You have all the players stacked and ready to compete.
The Chrysler and Imperial are the nicest looking to my eyes. People dislike the taillights but they are distinctive to the model. But Imperial's grille is phenomenal while the Chrysler's is separated and compromised. Bothe have incredible wheels. But the Imperial is formal in black and totally elegant! That Imperial HAS to be first in my book. Chrysler second (and handsome in these colors), DeSoto, Dodge, Plymouth!
John - You Da MAN!
To me all of them have the same body style, with just subtle differences in the nose and rears, so I just gave them all a thumbs up with a tie.
Tony nailed the list order for me as well, but all the Chryco cars were pretty sweet for '55. Even better for '56. And yes, thanks John. I really do enjoy these.😊
I'm prejudiced towards the Imperial. Second is the DeSoto and the Chrysler tie, then the Dodge and the Plymouth. Looking at the entire lineup I can't find any that I don't like.
A great year for Chrysler design. Due to family ties I picked the DeSoto first. I like all the rest about equally. Thanks John once again.
I voted DeSoto. ‘55 is my favorite one. Yeah I know……most people say ‘56.
