I forgot to include the Galaxie 500XL. Vintage Burgundy (?) was my fav color.

‘65. What John K said. Removing those exposed headlights from the grill changed the whole demeanor of the car.  Ditto for the rear. If I had purchased a new ‘63 or ‘64 Riviera I would have traded it in on a ‘65.

I didn’t care for the tail lights being located into the bumper. I didn’t like the design change of the ‘65-66 Impala’s tail lights either.

Eight generations for an emblem is pretty iconic.  They began to lose me in styling after generation 4.  My number 1 is the 1965. I am always attracted to folding headlights although they were problematic as the car aged. 2. 1963 and 3. 1964
