Hudson, Mercury, Ford man for '53, no interest in anything GMC had to offer for '53.

All these dreamboats are beautiful automobiles and would be a real delight to drive back in 1953. They all make great replicas/diecast models now days.

Funny, I never before thought of Chevrolet's 1953 Corvette as their GM Motorama "Dream Car"   contribution..... but I suppose it could be interpreted in that way.      🤔 🤔   Also surprising, is that GM did so much more to celebrate 1953 despite it being Ford's 50th anniversary - who simply marked the occasion with dash badges, right?

Chris, the '53 Corvette was initially revealed as a concept, then rushed into limited production. You're so right about Ford.

I have to go with the Corvette. Its debut resonated around the world and still does to this day. Second, to me, is the first Eldorado, a mark of excellence that has stood the test of time. tie for third is the Skylark and Fiesta.

I've always been partial to the Fiesta, and they look good in person. Next up Eldorado, then Corvette.

I do not really care for any of them, but if I had to choose it would go like this, Buick, Cadillac, Corvette, Oldsmobile.

I picked the Skylark, to my eyes, it has the best mix of sportiness and elegance. Then the Eldo, Vette and Fiesta.😊

...all you Skylark lover surprise me.   It is a nice car, I've seen only one in person, but better than the Eldo, or Vette?    🤔 🤨 🤔

For me it is the Corvette followed by the Fiesta. I cannot get too interested in any of the others.

@chris

Yes Chris for me personally, the Skylark is the epitome of all four of those cars. I rate the Skylark just over the Corvette and as for the Olds and Cadillac well I’ve already voiced my opinions on Cadillac and they’re not good. And as for choosing the Skylark over the Corvette. It should be rather obvious… the Skylark has a backseat for extracurricular activities. 🤪
