He was 82.   It's fair to say...  he touched ALL our lives.

Yes!    As a kid I couldn't quite appreciate the genius of Brian Wilson.   Years later, of course, I understood.   Brian was an amazing musician that help to shape the latter part of the 20th century.  Countless people within the music industry have been influenced by his work.   We were lucky to have him for 82 years.

Just as revered here in Australia. I've attached a wonderful tribute from our leading local newspaper this morning. The last lines are:

"In 2018, he returned to his old high school in Hawthorne and witnessed the literal rewriting of his past: The principal erased an “F” he had been given in music and awarded him an “A.”

@geoff-jowett  Very nice....  I was reminded that Brian was the last surviving member among the three brothers of the original band.

Yes sir, most everyone's I suspect.   Crazy as it seems, it was only about 8 years ago or so, that I realized "Don't worry Baby" (everything will be alright ) was about a drag race!     😬 😬 😬
