He lived in our area. I got to know him through selling him and his farm several vehicles. He was one of the nicest, most gracious men I've ever met, and one of our best actors ever.

I remember him as the Cab driver in “Bullitt” Ned Pepper in “True grit” and dozens more roles, he was great.

Another legend gone. What an incredible actor. It's really gonna hit me when Clint Eastwood passes. My favorite actor ever. RIP Robert. 😢

@geno So very sad, one of my favorite actors of all time. Just saw him in ‘Open Range’ a couple of weeks ago.

An incredibly talented actor who leaves a tremendous legacy.  So nice that he had such a good long life.  RIP Sir.
