Just an outstanding career for an extremely talented & influential woman who led a fascinating life. For quite some time she was the Lennon's neighbor in New York; she would often babysit or play with little Julian.
May she rest in peace...she will be missed. She was 88 😔 😔

My favorite Roberta Flack song was the one she sang with Donnie Hathaway, called The Closer I Get To You. Both of them were so very talented and together they were magic. I recall that when Hathaway tragically passed away shortly after the release of that song how bummed out it made me feel.....what a waste. I am so glad that Roberta Flack had a good, long life; from all reports she was a class act.
