This happens much too often at all times of the day. My response to these people is drive like you mean it or stay home.

LOL! Good one David; thanks.
I hate to admit it but I found that with retirement, 13 years ago, I slowed way down in my driving. I also find myself driving below the speed limit and upon that realization, I have to speed up. I very rarely drive the interstates any more but I never hold anyone up, I still like 'speed' as much as anyone.
(John's response gave me a good chuckle.)

I agree John, I live in a small town with lots of retirees. As a matter of fact, I am one, but it irritates me when drivers crawl around slowly, causing grid lock even in our town. Posted this one to see what the reaction would be.
I don't mind elderly drivers how travel a bit lower than the posted speed but get exasperated at any driver who takes forever to make a turn at an intersection and such....even when there's nobody coming or when they have the right of way.
... I was never really a speedster ... BUT it's SO EASY to do 85mph + on the freeways these days. Any modern vehicle can effortlessly cruise at excessive speeds. 😮 😮
"get exasperated at any driver who takes forever to make a turn at an intersection and such....even when there's nobody coming or when they have the right of way." Jack Dodds ; this one does get to me. I do get a little put out by people doing under the speed limit.
I love the adaptive cruise control, set it 9 mph over the limit [where I tend to like driving] and don't mind slower drivers as the control just follows them up to my 9 mph over the limit, and cops don't seem to bother me this way. If I don't use the control I find myself going back and forth 70 to 40 in a 50 zone; do to the fact I have no feeling in my feet due to nephropathy.
Well stated. I, too, LOVE Adaptive Cruise and use it over the normal cruise every time I use it. I set it for no more than 5 over however. And LOVE HD surround vision."get exasperated at any driver who takes forever to make a turn at an intersection and such....even when there's nobody coming or when they have the right of way."
