Seeing all the photos of old cars at American shows...

do you often see old cars on the road in an every day sense? We see very few oldies on the road here in the UK.

Here in Metro-Detroit area, yes, it is pretty normal to see classic cars frequently

On the roads in the summertime. I probably see one or more three or four times a week. There is always some car show or gathering going on in multiple small towns and such just about every day.

Not in daily use, no not any more. Weekends are mostly when they come out to play especially when the sun shines. Car club outings and car shows, of which there are many, make the streets sparkle with shiny paint and chrome. Plenty of people drive old cars around out of economic nessesity, but they are mostly JDM imports, no interesting stuff now.

On occasion you’ll see an old car or two coming or going from a cruise night or car show during.....

the nice weather here in the NY/NJ metro area.

From time to time, yes, we do see them in the Austin metro area. In the last ten days or so I've seen a '62 Impala sport coupe, a cream-colored '58 Chevy Biscayne sedan, and a '55 Ford Sunliner (beautifully restored in pink and white) on the streets in Georgetown.

Rarely on an everyday sense but on weekends quite a few coming and going to shows and/or cruise ins. Living in the south allows the use of old cars twelve months a year which is a cool thing.

Never in the winter in Northern Illinois. Occasionally during the warm weather.

We see them on a regular basis here in Northern California. There are even a few in just my neighborhood. There is a 63 Ford convertible on the other end of my block, a 65 Chevy on the other end, and a couple of others I can't recall at the moment.

In the Kansas City metro area, when the suns comes out, the collectible cars do to.

From May to September or October in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Strong car culture here.

Vintage cars cruise in Victoria, British Columbia all year round as the climate is temperate. Scads of them cruising around June to September....very cool.
