We were in CA for an extended weekend. Saw some friends in Santa Cruz, missed some whales in Monterey Bay, then moseyed to LA for the Tar Pits and the Petersen. We started at the Vault, which at about 300 cars is really overwhelming, but I got a few photos done. It was nice to see some vehicles had made it over from the Mullin collection. You can read the signs for some of the cars if you zoom way in. A little something for everyone, I hope.
Terrific headlights on this Buick
The Shah's Bugatti
Khrushchev's 1962 Chajka
Popemobile
Great pictures. One day I will make it out there and visit the Peterson Museum.
Love the pics...I've been to Petersen's a few times throughout the years. The last time was about 25 years ago. We also visited the Museum of Miniatures which I believe has since closed. Paul, thanks for sharing!

Wow, thanks. And to think I'm so close but I haven't gone in probably 30 years ! I've gotta rethink my strategy.
Thanks for posting the pics. My favorite is the 1960 Buick custom.
what an incredible collection of cars! I don't know how the hell I could leave! Thanks Paul
Incredible cars, incredible pics - thanks so much. Had to feel special standing next to so many legends of automotive history. WOW!
