As a kid in the Fifties seeing these Big Behemoth Buicks growling down the streets and parked in yards, they seemed like clunkers. But they ran and they sounded like they could eat you up if you got in their way. My uncle Ernie was a Buick man and though I don't remember him owning a '42, I know he did some of the later Forties Buicks, but a couple of them surely looked like some of these.
