What fun. Nothing like a two-seat sports roadster!
First I have ever heard of this car; very cool!
My gosh, John, this is a Time Machine for me. I knew David Greenblatt, John Cannon and Peter Ryan and watched early races by the Dailu Bardahl Special. I was at the Canadian Grand Prix in September 1962 at Mosport and mixed with the racing crews and drivers, something you could do at that time. I actually sat in this car. This was an era of locally built very competitive race cars built locally in Canada such as the Sadler and Comstock. We had a lot of loose talent then freed up by the cancellation of the Avro Arrow. This final road sportscar Dailu Mark 1 looks a lot more refined than the brutal Dailu that I remember back then with bare metal interior and light weight aluminum seats.
Here is what it looked like in 1962 at Mosport.
After the fire at Nassau, here is the Mark 2 version.
Wow! That must have been quite an experience, David. Thanks for sharing.

+1 What a great memory to have David!
David, how cool that you knew John Cannon. I remember him from F5000. Seemed like he always won. I wonder how he would have done in, say, F1.
What fun. Nothing like a two-seat sports roadster!
...with a Chevrolet Corvette power plant!
