It is very close but in 2drht. form I prefer the look of the Chrysler.

I chose the Chrysler by a very thin margin. It came down to the look of excessive heaviness of the Packard's front bumper.

I've never been able to get past the Packard's styling, particularly the front. As I've aged I like these big early 1950 Chryslers (and DeSotos) better - they're handsome in full size. The Chrysler wins for me.
