Back in the day, my younger brother bought a brand new '79 Firebird with the small block 400 and 4 speed. Later, I helped him soup it up even more with a cam, headers, and competition 5-speed. MAN that car was fun to drive!!!

The ‘79 is my all-time fave of the Gen II Trans Ams…now, if it only had the SD-455 & a functional Shaker (only available on the ‘70-‘72 models) it’d be perfect!
