I miss the Corvette.....this is more like a Lambo or Ferrari......and yes, I don't do change well.

Jack, I agree. There are a bunch of C8s in both of the Corvette clubs I belong to, but I still prefer the traditional Corvette design, a long hood and a short rear deck.

@jack-dodds Jack, like you I don't do well with change but when the C8 Corvettes came out I was carried away. A friend, who owns several Corvettes from the various series, let me drive his C8. Aside from the difficulty I had getting into and out of the car, the driving experience is fantastic. The performance is what you would expect from such a car and the controls are intuitive making it easy to drive. There are those who disdain the style of the car as being too much like those of other sporting machines but I love it's purposeful look.

@bob-jackman I have no doubt that the new Corvette is an extremely well engineered car; it seems to get positive reviews all round on this point.  Given the experience it provides the driver it is obviously well priced too.  My simple issue is that I prefer the look of previous designs as I was never a Lambo/Ferrari design fan.

@jack-dodds I understand Jack. If you're not a fan of those cars designs, then I can see why you wouldn't like the C8. I was never a fan of the Lambo/Ferrari either but more for the prices, which were out of my league, and the unreliability factor as well.
