The last Buick sedan gets cut from the team
After 2020, Buick will only offer SUVs and crossovers. After selling only 6000 cars this year, the Regal is going away. Click here to see Carscoops article.

No Buick cars
Ah remember the Buick slogan which must now be changed to read "When Better Cars Are Built Buick Will Not Build Them."
LOL! You're right.

I'm hoping they use Cadillac's 355 HP twin turbo V6 to make a final GNX version like before.

The station wagon in the pic is a k.o. that no one knows about. I spent at least 45mins looking it over at a recent auto show. Beautiful !
Yes...great idea.
Quite attractive for an SUV.
Sales might have been helped if GM actually invested in marketing and advertising these cars, And dealers failed to stock these models, making little effort to actually sell them. The decision to drop these models, now produced by Puegeot in the German Opel plants, is no surprise to me.
GM's modus operandi appears to be to continue shrinking its market share.
Another foolish move that GM/Buick stupidly seemed to encourage by making a series of idiotic decisions.
Sadly, the market is demanding boring grey and silver suvs & crossovers. Yaaaawn.
I mean, look at that little EV crossover thing they're calling a Mustang. Crazy. I thought the final Buick LaCrosse was a beautiful car but it was way overpriced and poorly advertised. It's probably doing well in China, though, where Buick is a top automotive brand. At least for now.
The main reason for dropping the Regal is that it’s built by Opel which GM has since sold.

IMO, it is a station wagon. The sales people agreed with me. Nothing suv about it.
I'd like one in a heartbeat but I just purchased a SportTrac.
Let's face it, American car companies don't bother, or simply can't, build a good or interesting car anymore. And if they do, like the Ford Taurus or Chrysler 300, they don't do anything to promote or sell them. When was the last time you saw an ad for one of those cars? Yet Toyota, Honda, and others show ads for their cars all the time and, surprise!, are still selling them.
